MEET KIM SHEPHERD
Kimberly Shepherd is the founder and driving force behind In-Sync Accounting & Consulting, a firm dedicated to helping individuals and small business owners resolve their most pressing tax challenges and restore peace of mind. With more than 15 years of combined experience in accounting and tax resolution, Kimberly has built a reputation for delivering smart, personalized solutions that actually work — even in the most complex cases.
As a licensed Enrolled Agent, Kimberly has the legal authority to represent clients before the IRS in all tax matters nationwide. She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner, bringing specialized expertise in uncovering financial discrepancies, resolving compliance issues, and protecting her clients from unnecessary exposure or loss.
Throughout her career, Kimberly has helped countless clients navigate back taxes, stop aggressive IRS actions, and establish sustainable financial strategies. Her approach blends technical expertise with genuine compassion — she understands that behind every tax problem is a real person whose life and livelihood matter. Integrity, honesty, and client care are at the heart of her work.

Outside of the office, Kim is a devoted wife and mother of three. Balancing family, faith, and business has shaped her perspective and deepened her passion for helping others manage life’s financial challenges with confidence.
MEET LEA COLLINS
Born and raised in Monroe, Louisiana, and a proud graduate of Richwood High School, Lea Collins brings both hometown heart and professional expertise to every client she serves. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, she launched her career with In-Sync Accounting & Consulting in 2019—and after gaining valuable industry experience, she proudly returned to In-Sync in 2025.
With over five years of hands-on experience, Lea has worked with a diverse range of clients including accounting for a large property management company and a regional CPA firm. Today, she plays a vital role on our team as our in-house Accountant and Tax Resolution Specialist. She assists clients with everything from day-to-day bookkeeping to tax preparation and accounting clean-up, helping individuals and businesses get and stay in financial compliance.
Known for her precision, integrity, and passion for helping others succeed, Lea is currently expanding her credentials by studying to become both a licensed Enrolled Agent with the IRS and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Her commitment to excellence and client service makes her an invaluable asset to our firm and to every client she supports.
OUR INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Interns at In-Sync Accounting & Consulting, support our team by assisting with client onboarding, document preparation, research, and day-to-day operations. They play an important role in keeping projects organized, ensuring accuracy in client files, and providing administrative support under the guidance of our licensed professionals. This role allows them to gain hands-on experience in accounting & tax resolution while contributing to the success of our clients.
